If you are looking for an exciting new hobby or sport to take up I encourage you to take a look at paintball. There are so many reasons why I think it is the greatest sport I've ever played, but for the sake of time, in this article I'll give you just a few.

Many of us grew up playing tag, or dodgeball. You could say that paintball is like these, but a lot more extreme. You are trying to mark your opponents by shooting them with a paintball. It is a simple concept but it is oh so much fun.

Paintball is full of action. If your heart isn't racing while you are playing, you better go to the Doctor and get checked because only a zombie could play it without getting excited.

People of all sizes, shapes, and ages can have fun playing paintball. You can't say that for many sports. Usually the players of other sports excel at it if they are a certain size or age. Anyone of any age can play a game of paintball. If you can pull a trigger, and your heart is in good enough shape to handle the excitement, you can play paintball.

One of the best parts of this extreme sport is that there are hundreds of different paintball markers that you can pick from. Want one that pumps? Or maybe you want an electronic one that can unleash a hail storm of paint. Whatever you want, you can find or customize your gear exactly the way you want.

Paintball is a great sport that is lots of fun to play. While playing you get a rush of excitement and after the game your face should be all smiles. Many of us played tag growing up. This sport can be called an extreme version of tag. Anyone that gets involved in this sport can create and play with their dream marker.

If you are craving some more excitement in your life, and want to pick up a hobby or sport to do in your free time, I recommend you try paintball.

Let us take a peak at CO2 and see what is going on inside of it and your gun while you are playing paintball. Many players choose to use it because it is more affordable than the superior solution, compressed air.

Most players will be just fine using CO2. They can play for years and years with it and still have fun playing paintball. If you want to save money and don't really care about improving your gun's performance then there is no reason to upgrade. Some markers work much better on CO2 than others, so many players chose not to upgrade.

In colder temperatures you can have a lot of problems with CO2. You can have sudden changes in velocity, have what looks like snow shoot out of our barrel, your gun may sputter, choke, it may become so cold that you cant hold your gun anymore, or the tank may become the same way. Your gun may even freeze up.

These problems often occur when you are shooting rapidly. During times of rapid fire, it is important that problems like these don't happen, because it is often when you are trying hard to hit a target, or keeping someone in their bunker.

In a tank the CO2 is in both gas form and liquid form. The gas is what you want your gun to use, while the liquid is what you want to keep out. When you shoot the gas, more liquid will turn into gas. When you are shooting rapidly the liquid often isn't able to turn into gas quickly enough, so it goes into your paintball marker.

Liquid entering your gun can cause horrible consistency from shot to shot. One shot may be fine, but then you may notice that the shots after it all travel shorter.

It makes it difficult to keep an opponent in their bunker or hit a person running when each shot your fire doesn't travel as far as the one before it. Lacking consistency can cause you to get less eliminations and be a less effective player.

So what can you use that won't give you problems with consistency? Compressed air (also called HPA) is a superior alternative. It works much better in paintball guns, is more consistent and isn't hindered by cold weather.

Paintball rocks my socks off. I don't say that often, but in the case of paintball I wholeheartedly love to play it. It is such a thrilling sport to play, but is it more thrilling than a movie or video game? In this article I'll briefly compare paintball vs. movies and video games.

Like to watch movies? Like to play video games? If you do, you probably know that excited, thrilling feeling you get when you are really involved in the video game or the video you are watching.

It's better than a movie, because instead of getting the feeling from watching, you get to participate and feel the real life adrenaline pump through your veins as you duck, run, crawl, shoot, get dirty, and have a grand old time.

The realism many people strive for in movies, and video games will never replace experiencing an exciting activity like paintball in real life. You can continue to get the best surround sound systems, the highest definition TV, and try to make a video game or movie as realistic as possible, but watching a movie or playing a video game for me will never be as thrilling as playing a paintball game, in real life.

Take away the violence, killing, and real guns in movies and video games and replace it with a paintball gun with paintballs and you get a real experience that is better than a movie.

Paintball has scenario play for those who want to feel like they are in war, speedball play for those who want fast paced action that totally envelops you when the game is going, and recreational play for those who just want to have fun.

No movie or video game will ever surpass the excitement and thrill I experience when I'm in a paintball game. It's suspenseful and adrenaline pumping, and I would much rather play paintball than watch a movie or play a video game.

If you are going to play paintball, check out what to wear paintballing and learn a few paintball strategies.
