The sniper in paintball is a highly sought after role. I guess the dream of being a sniper starts at a young age. War movies pound the glamor and prestige of the sniper into our minds, and thanks to paintball, we have a unique opportunity to become one.

To transition into the sniper role, a paintballer must drop all "spray and pray" ideals and adopt a new set of skills. Stealth and accuracy are key to being an effective sniper. You really need to aim to be effective, and practice patience to become the ultimate sniper. It will of course take time to get used to this change in playing style, especially if you are used to more aggressive play. In due time though, and with lots of practice, you'll begin to pick things up.

Having the right gear is one of the key steps to becoming a superior sniper. A durable, reliable, and consistent marker is a must have. You won't need one that shoots a billion balls per second since you'll be relying on stealth and one shot kills. A pump or Tippmann with a Flatline are plenty enough.

Many snipers end up getting a pump marker or Tippmann with a Flatline barrel. These are the most common setups among snipers, as they both offer great benefits. Since a pump is slower, you will need to rely focus on aiming to make every shot count.

For those that don't want a pump, that's fine too. Another alternative is to get a marker by Tippmann. Tippmann markers are popular for a number of reasons. They are durable, reliable, consistent and highly upgradeable. One of the biggest things to note about a Tippmann, is the Flatline. A Flatline is a curved barrel that can only be put on Tippmann markers. What makes it a valuable tool for a sniper is how it can double your range.

Either option, pump or Tippmann with a Flatline will suffice. If you love being the underdog, then a pump is your best bet, if not, then go with a Tippmann and Flatline!

No matter what marker you get, pump or Tippmann, you can further accessorize it into the ultimate sniper paintball rifle for sale.
If you love playing war games, you may want to take your games to the next level. Now, that does not mean that you want to go out and buy a real gun and start shooting people left right and center. It means that you may want to introduce yourself to a game called paintball. There are many things in a game of paintball; the guns are just one of them. If you are not playing in an open forest or field, and are, instead setting up a combat zone in your back yard, you may want to consider getting paintball bunkers.

If you do not have paintball bunkers you will leave yourself vulnerable to the other team, but then again, they will be open to your shots to. However, this does not make the game fair.

Playing on a paintball field that has one side with all the bunkers is no fun (unless your into the whole underdog thing). If you've ever played on a field that has holes in bunkers then you know how frustrating that can be too. The key is to make the field as consistent as you can, so that way both sides are balanced and no side has the upper advantage.

This is why consistent bunkers will come in really handy, because without them you may as well stand in front of each other and shoot out your paint bullets - not really fun. The whole point of the game of paintball is to evade and attack. This is why you will want to hide behind as many things as possible. This is also why you may want to get a nice, big combat zone.

Once you have all these things (a well balanced playing field, and a select number of consistent bunkers) you can get your game started and enjoy playing paintball with your friends and family every day or every weekend if you like.

When you have a private paintball game at your home you can easily use this for a bachelor party or the paintball can make a great game for when you have a party or barbeque. It is lots of fun for all.

While most games are done at a venue where you have ready built large bunkers to hide behind, you can also get a private game going if you purchase all the equipment that you need including the gear, goggles, paint balls and the paintball bunkers.

Once you have all these things (a well balanced playing field, and a select number of consistent bunkers) you can get your game started and enjoy playing paintball with your friends and family every day or every weekend if you like.

Remember, balance is key in making a paintball field. Try to make both sides balanced and leave no advantages for one side. You can either make your field symmetrical - both sides are exactly the same, or you can make it assymetrical - both sides are different. Whichever option you go with be sure to balance each side.

These are there to make sure the game goes on for a longer time and so that it is not boring. Just image you had not bunkers to hide behind. This would make the game very dull and short lived. You have to hide and attack from the bunkers. They provide you with protection and support when you are shooting your opponents.

This is why it is important for you to have paintball bunkers. Now, there is a way for you to have a game of paintball without the bunkers, and that is to set the game up in an open forest where the trees are you barriers. The advantage to this is there is literally no building on your part. The disadvantage is of course you don't get that battlefield feel as you would with tree forts and ditches.

When building your own paintball field the possibilities are endless. You can build a speedball field or woodsball field. The key to making a woodsball field is to work with the features of your property, and balance both sides of the playing field. To make the games shorter it is important to section of the field too, so there is a limited playing ground (that way you don't spend hours finding the last player).

If you are going to purchase paintball bunkers, make sure that you have a large enough back yard to spread them out far enough, as having a space that is too small will make for quite a boring game too. Air or custom made, it doesn't matter - your budget will ultimately decide what you get. The cheapest way to make your own paintball field is of course making your own homemade paintball bunkers out of scrap materials from a neighbor or you own supply.
