The paintball barrels are used for aiming purpose while playing the game. As we have different kinds of paintballs, the barrel of the paintball should also be available in all those forms so as to make sure that the ball exactly suits the barrels size. For this there are some specifications to be followed in order to make the barrel more effective in playing.

The bore diameter, barrel length, barrel style are the important factors that has to be taken into consideration while choosing a good barrel for playing. The sliding and screwing barrels are used in the earlier versions where threading is used. Some type of basic threading are autococker, spyder, shocker, A-5, etc.

The paintball barrels are classified in to three configurations. They are one piece, two piece and three piece paintball barrels. This barrels system has a provision to exchange between the barrels so that it will be useful while playing. Usually two or three piece barrels are used.

The paintball barrel has some specifications to be maintained. It must be 3 - 31 inches in length. Barrels with customization option can go up to 48 inches. The length factor is important that longer the barrels very less sound while shooting.

In order to make your shooting accurate and also to make your paintball barrel easy to carry with you, the length of the barrel should be around 14 to 16 inches. Some holes are provided in the paintball barrel so make the extra gas to flow out and the holes should be placed after 8 inches of the paintball barrel.

The bore of the paintball barrel should exactly match with the paintball diameter. If it does not match, then there is chance of difference in velocity. It also results in the inaccuracy of the shooting. 2- 3 piece barrels will be more suitable for the paintball diameter, so that changing of barrel is not necessary.

These are just some of the basics behind paintball barrels. Having a good barrel can change your game. A good barrel can shoot everything from paintball seconds to the very best. Find the perfect paintball barrel.

Airsoft is an exciting sport that can take the form of military simulation, war reenactments, or any scenario a player's imagination can conjure. The weapons used in the sport of Airsoft are as diverse as its players, ranging from simple spring-action models to the more complex electric and gas-powered varieties. Most Airsoft guns are designed to mimic actual firearms. The feel of the hand grip, the look of the magazine and in some cases the firing action are realistic replicas of the real weapon. However, the complexity and the genuine look of each weapon are contingent on the player's budget.

The most inexpensive and most readily available Airsoft weapons are the spring-action models. These models are usually single-shot handgun replicas that require the player to cock a spring back before firing each round. These weapons are only accurate enough to be used for short range shooting and are not practical for Airsoft competitions and simulations. The advantage of the spring-loader is that its simplistic design makes it unlikely to malfunction, even in extreme cold and wet weather. While many spring-action styles have the look of real firearms, they are considered beginner models.

Gas powered Airsoft guns are more expensive then the spring-action gun but they are the more powerful alternative. These guns use pressurized gas such as CO2 and propane to fire the ammunition. Gas power offers the capability of both semi-automatic and automatic firing and they tend to be more realistic in their look. The gas powered Airsoft also tends to be available in small handgun replicas, with many offering a blowback feature that more closely mirrors the authentic firearm operation. Gas powered weapons are increasingly harder to find now that electric Airsoft weapons are becoming more popular.

While the electric selection of Airsoft tends to be more expensive, they are available in abundance. They feature a variety of firing capabilities including: automatic, three-round burst, and semi-automatic action. The electric Airsoft models range from handgun styles to assault weapon replicas. They offer greater velocity and accuracy and are the most common models used in Airsoft competitions and simulations. Many are made out of metal and reinforced plastic to give them an authentic look and feel.

Airsoft is a sport that can be enjoyed on many different levels. As a beginner, an inexpensive spring-loader is a great investment for target shooting in the backyard, before moving on to a more expensive electric model for a military simulation in the woods. Whatever the level of expertise or budget, Airsoft offers a challenging adventure for any player.

Swat Airsoft is a one stop shop for all or your airsoft needs. In our store your can Buy Airsoft Guns and we have a large selection of metal and plastic guns to choose from or even Buy Airsoft Rifles.

Paintball is one of the sports which utilize guns as a main tool. Without these paintball guns, paintball will not be paintball because a paintball cannot shoot itself alone. Paintball guns or paintball markers, as how enthusiasts call it, were first invented in the year 1970 by James Hale of the Daisy Manufacturing and was first used as an instrument to make markings on trees and livestock by farmers and herdsmen. One type of paintball marker that arises after its conception is the pump paintball marker.

Pump paintball markers are recommended for those who just started to play paintball because these guns are good to hone the paintball players' strength and skills. Basically, these guns are more efficient because it exhaust less CO2 and uses less paintball. For this reason, the number of paintball shots a player can execute is limited. Therefore, a paintball player needs to develop his accuracy and stealth skills in order to achieve victory in the game. It would really be an excellent gun to start with because it will bring about the players to think of good strategies to prevail in the game.

One of the most common thought of paintball players nowadays is that pump paintball players cannot afford the automatic or even the semi-automatic paintball markers. However, we should take into account that the price in playing paintball does not matter but the way the game went through does. It is also quite ordinary that people relate pump paintball for old people because it is a game of the old days but this game is not only for old people. Actually, it is more suitable for players of young age because pump paintball requires much strength and skills.

Even though the techniques, skills and technology are present in a player, it would be put into waste if the player does not have the right attitude. The right attitude in pump paintball and in any paintball games is to be confident enough that you will win. Believing in winning is already a winning streak. Though sometimes a player may experience defeat, what is important is how he played the game.

Pump markers are also thought of as low techs and are not competitive enough for tournaments. Actually, there are modern pump markers today that are built from high-quality aircraft materials, computer designed internals and precision ported gas paths which make it stronger, more proficient and unswerving. It cannot also be said that it is not competitive enough for any tournaments because it is the paintball player who dictates the game and not the kind of marker he uses. If the player knows how to strategize and use his skills, winning is inevitable regardless if he is using pump markers.

The bottom line here is that pump paintball play is fun and challenging and anyone who plays with pump markers are not afraid to take the challenge. Pump playing should not be stereotyped in any way because it is essentially the same as any paintball game only that it is more fun.

Before you purchase any paintball equipment be sure to read what Bob says about how to buy pump paintball marker and buy pump paintball gear.

A paintball sniper is the member of the team that is specializing in concealment tactics, and shoots the opposing team members using a one-shot fire using a paintball sniper gun. Its location must be somewhere the opponent will not discover him by masking himself with the use of the environment surrounding him; maybe shadows, bushes, or leaves. A sniper must be skillful to perform a strategic sniping tactic that will help the team win. He must also study the whole battle field beforehand so that he will know where to hide and shoot perfectly. The talents and skills of a paintball sniper are gained through experience and trainings. Patience and sensitivity with the environment is learned overtime.

A paintball sniper is one of the members of the team that holds a lot of responsibility in the game. It has to be smart to know when to shoot to acquire a one-time shot, and sensitive enough to feel the battle field.

Here are discussed some of the weapons and equipments that a paintball sniper uses in playing paintball:

There are two kinds of paintball snipers, the forward sniper, and the rear or guard sniper. At the start of the game, the forward sniper instantly advances through the field and set himself and his equipments at a hiding position. His spot must be where he can cover his team mates during the course of dispersing and attack. Usually, he sees the opponent going through his way but he will not be seen. An excellent way of performing an attack as a forward sniper is to allow the opponent to pass after him and finally shoots successfully at the back of the opponent. It is important to know the battlefield by heart so that he will know where the opponents might be hiding or take their tracks. The forward sniper's important role is shooting the most experienced opponent before they catch him. Once they do, he must move to another spot to hide and track the opponent and cover his allies.

The rear sniper, unlike the forward sniper, is not present on the battle grounds, but is essential in keeping the opponent's team to take over the base or the flag. He guards out the attackers that enters the base proximity. To be an effective rear paintball sniper, he must make use of his environment to blend carefully through the area where the opponent does not suspect him to be in such a position, but at the same time has a good sight of the flag or that base that is being protected.

If you are planning to play the role as a paintball sniper, learn from every game and focus your mind on the sport. If your strategy did not work out, ask yourself what went wrong and study the whole process, so that the next time you will play, you will be as skillful as everyone else.

To be a paintball sniper, you must not only possess the attitude and exceptional skill for being a sharpshooter, but you must equip yourself well with all the different weapons and gadgets needed to play the role. A paintball sniper is one of the most vital players in a paintball game because if all its team members were shot, snipers can still win the game with proper game tactics and skills.

A paintball sniper really needs a good set of sniper guns. To be an effective sniper, he must be able kill the target in just one shot, so that the opponent will not discover its hiding spot. To accomplish this, he needs to have the important equipment that a paintball sniper uses, the paintball sniper gun. Though all of the paintball guns have the same distance range, it is still possible to do sniping with proper attachments to the gun.

A sniper gun must be efficient in terms of its composition. The weight of the gun must be as lightweight as possible, because most of the time, the sniper holds it for a long time in a steady position. And in case of changing the hideout, carrying a lightweight sniper gun is an ease. The gun must help the sniper to hide in terms of its color. Black or green guns are the basics. Avoid using a highly colored gun. A magnification scope might be attached to the gun but it may not be used all the time.

The barrel must be appropriate with the size of the paintball capsule that you will use. There are instances that the paintball capsule pops inside the barrel due to size incompatibility. Also the desired distance of the shot is not met, causing a faulty firing. The barrel must also help the sniper to conceal by having a silencer. In a typical gun, it can be attached to a silencer to diminish the sound it creates, but in a paintball sniper gun, the barrel can do the trick. It only needs to have a porting tip to reduce the firing sound.

Goggles are also important in being a paintball sniper. In doing your concealment throughout the game, you might be engaged in a position of lying close to the floor with dusts. A good pair of goggles must be free from scratches or humid that will interfere with your sight and your tracking job.

The sense of sight is very important for paintball snipers. You must use goggles that can withstand humid and light that may interfere with your vision. A good goggle must also prevent dusts of the field from harming your eyes.

Before you start to learn about or purchase any paintball gear, be sure to read Peter's reviews and tips about how to be a great paintball sniper and pump paintball guns.

When you think about the game of paintball you will probably think about the funny clothes and different color paint balls that you can shoot. If you look back at when this game started you will see that it used to use various war like strategies and methods like having paintball tanks.

Most of the time, the objective of the game of paintball can be changed by the players. In fact, if you have a favorite computer game that involves shooting (which ones don't these days), you can take that actual storyline and adapt it to fit your game of paint ball. There is one popular way of playing paintball, but before we get there let take a look at where the best place to play paint ball is.

Paint ball is a real flexible game, considering that it is a game that can be played by just two people up to one hundred or more people. Now, if you have a huge group of people, like one hundred, then the game will be a bit tricky, but it means that it could be a marathon game, where you can have a few teams and set up a sort of tournament.

You can get all the equipment for this from various online sources, but you can also get all the paintball gear and paintball tanks from the internet.

The great thing about paintball is that you can play it anywhere. However, the best place that this game is played is on a huge field or even in a forest.

If you play it in a forest it means that you do not need to buy any sort of bunker or hideaway spots, as it is already there for you - and paintball tanks will work perfectly in wide open spaces too.

Playing with a homemade paintball tanks can be loads of fun. Just check out this tank made by a crafty kid.

Protecting your face when playing paintball is a must. Wear a paintball mask to make sure you are protected.

Protecting your face when playing paintball is a must. Wear a paintball mask to make sure you are protected.

The protective gear worn during play in paintball is called a paintball mask. It prevents paint and paintball markers with speed up to 300 feet per second from hitting your face. It price ranges from less that $20 to $100. It could also be installed with accessories like headbands and visors to shield you from the glare.

Basically, what a paintball mask does is keep paintball markers for hitting your face. It also helps prevent you from ingesting paint through your eyes, nose, ear or mouth. The paint used in paintball is toxic and must not be ingested in any way. It also protects your nose and your eyes, which are sensitive, from getting hit. It also prevents any other sensitive part of your face to get irritated by the paint.

A paintball mask also helps prevent head injuries when you fall or trip during the game. A paintball mask must have adequate padding that fits the head snugly into the mask. The padding must contour your face and your head when you wear it but return to its original shape when you take it off. It must also be firmly glues onto the plastic of the mask.

You must be able to tighten or loosen the straps of the paintball mask without stretching it too much. Your mouth guard must not hit your chest when you look down.

A good paintball mask should also have a thermal or anti-fog lens. This is composed of two lenses with a small air pocket in between that stabilizes the heat on from your face and outside of the mask, preventing fogging on the lens.

You can also choose to install fans on top of the lens on your paintball mask. But not all masks are ready to be installed with fans. These fans evaporate moisture from your face. These can cost you a penny and would need batteries. It can also distract you with the noise it makes and can break easily.

Keeping your paintball mask clean is a must. First, you can run a rag over the mask to take out most of the paint on your mask. You can spray water on the paint to loosen it a little. Do not use any chemical or lens cleaner on your paintball mask. This may be harmful to your lens and could ruin it.

Be meticulous and clean out those little spaces in your masks. You can remove the lens on your paintball mask and clean its edges too. This will stop the paint from building up in those hard to reach places and trickling down on you or your lens, spoiling your vision during the game. Microfiber cloth is a good way to take the excess oil off the lens of your paintball mask. This helps your maintain a clear vision on your lens when you use it.

Before you purchase any paintball accessories, check out what Donald writes about the best paintball mask reviews and how to find a paintball mask cheap.

Design. This paintball marker has a very simple design made from aluminum and an interchangeable body which is a new marker feature introduced by the Ion. It comes in 4 different colors - black, yellow and black, blue and black and red and black. These body shells are made from high quality materials giving the Ion a plastic look. Moreover, these shells are resistant to scratches and fading.

The Ion is quite light weighing only 2 lbs and 2 oz making it easier to control. Without the barrel, it has a length of 8.5 inches. Also, it comes with a 12-inch barrel, .45 grip, a two finger trigger, vertical feed and a low pressure regulator. You can choose from one of the four firing modes to suit your game play. These are the semiautomatic and rebound mode, which give a maximum firing rate of 17 bps, and the full automatic and three shot burst with 10 bps firing rate.

The Ion has break-beam eyes for anti-chopping. You can use either HPA or CO2 at an operating pressure of 140 to 200 psi. This paintball gun can perform 1000-1400 shots with a 68 cubic inch 45000 psi tank.

Batteries are so convenient for it uses 9 volt batteries wherein it enables you to shot 15,000 times. However, when you buy your gun, it does not include the charger. You can either buy one or just have an extra battery.

Advantages. The Ion paintball gun became so popular because of its several advantages. First, as I mentioned above, the gun is quite light. It is easy to handle and control which of course can enhance your performance in the battle field. Another good thing with the Ion is its stock barrel. It can be considered as one of the best stock barrels ever released. If you are planning to upgrade your Ion, this will be the last thing you need to change. Its break-beam is also good, as well as its regulator. Customizing your trigger is one of the best features introduced by the Ion. Most paintball gun triggers needs an experienced and skilled player to adjust it. In Ion, it is just a matter or turning a few screws. A high performance gun in an affordable price - it is definitely the best deal, right?

Cons. The on/off button is quite difficult to push that sometimes you cannot even tell whether you have it on or not. Second, using CO2 is not recommended at all as it tends to freeze the gun that can damage its internals and electronics. For this gun, it is better to use compressed air. This gun also uses the o-rings to secure the hopper, which is not versatile or effective at all, might as well use a clamping feed neck. The first Ion paintball gun was released in 2005. It was further improved and developed to address these problems and issues. It was on 2007 when Smart Parts released the new Ion model, the Ion XE.

Although gas airsoft rifles are some of the most powerful products in the market, they are not used as much as other types of rifles. This is because of a variety of reasons, but it is also important to remember just how useful gas rifles really are.

The thing that makes gas rifles most appealing is their power. No other type of rifle comes close to the speed that these rifles can produce. Compressed gas pushes the BBs out at over four hundred feet per second, and in some cases, this number can go twice as high (but at that speed, you could not play airsoft, as it would be too painful).

What exactly do I mean by power? I am referring mainly to the feet per second measure, but the rounds per minute and accuracy come into play as well. If you have high measures for all three of those factors, then you have a truly good gun.

There are some disadvantages to gas rifles. First, because they are so fast, you can go through a lot of BBs quickly. If you want to save money on ammunition, then purchasing a this kind of rifle may not be for you.

In addition, you also have to continually buy more gas. Most rifles utilize green gas, and they come in small cartridges. If you own a gas-powered rifle, you will not be able to use it once you run out of gas.

For that reason, many people turn to the convenience of an electric airsoft rifle. With such a device, you either need to recharge the battery or buy new batteries. However, people often perceive buying batteries as different than purchasing gas.

Just because there are some drawbacks does not mean that a gas rifle is not worth it. You should consider whether you could maintain the product, and if you can, then you should not eliminate from your choices.

Believe me, gas airsoft rifles are definitely fun items to own. They are more powerful than anything else you can get, and therefore can deliver more interesting experiences.

In the process of looking for airsoft guns? Then visit EastCoastAirsoft, which showcases great airsoft guns like the HFC 92B Gas Pistol.

Have you ever encountered the term Pump Paintball Gun? If you're one of the people who play this kind of sport, surely you've already heard this type of equipment. It is actually one of the first ever guns, now called "paintball markers" to be more politically correct, to be used for the game of paintball.

But what makes this pump paintball gun different from the rest of the markers today? It is a well known fact that markers through time had evolved from the pump paintball guns to more sophisticated types. Be it basing to the convenient of use for the players or just to supply variation in the market. Since novelty types are always interesting and inviting to the customers.

A pump paintball gun is arguably the first ever paintball gun made and used for the game. It's a single-shot at a time type of gun which was initially used during the early days of the sport.

Other paintball markers known are Stock Paintball Guns, Semi-Auto Paintball Guns, and Electric Paintball Guns. The difference mainly lies on the amount of paintballs each marker can load and t their speed on releasing or shooting. Take for example a Stock Paintball Gun can hold up to 20-40 paintball rounds, whereas a Semi-automatic Paintball Gun can shoot 20 paintballs per second. And lastly, the Electric Paintball Gun which is said to be faster than the two since it is electrically triggered.

So with the availability of these new models of markers, why then use the old type pump paintball gun? In various games nowadays, whether in amateur and professional divisions, players of the sport don't actually use this kind of marker anymore. Mainly for the lack of availability of this type of gun in the market, pump paintball guns may be classified as vintage and thus not always readily available for selling. But to those who already have this type of marker at their homes, they find it more engaging to use this in their games, since it would definitely require a lot of skill and well thought technique to win, especially when your opponents are using the more updated versions of markers. It also gives an additional level of difficulty that players could enjoy. Moreover, using pump paintball guns today is like bringing back the times, times when it was firstly created and played.

Indeed, paintball is one of the far growing sports of the time. Becoming infamous to different countries nowadays, developing various types of guns or markers for the game is quite inevitable. But going back to the olden ways surely won't hurt and using the old equipments such as the pump paintball gun would actually be a diversion on how the game is usually played. People might even find it enjoyable and more challenging and with that maybe it can be available to stores once again.
